Update on Dillon

For those who may be worried about Dillon post-peccary attack, he is generally doing well. The leg wounds seem to be healing, no sign of infection at this time, an x-ray done yesterday was negative (no fracture), and he is definitely feeling a bit better, both physically and psychologically. We are happy to have found a nice pair of borrowed crutches, and he's sore in all those other parts as a result. He was feeling good enough that we decided he could go with his dad, brother and cousins to the Amazon for the week. They are all there now; fingers crossed they see lots of scarlet macaws and that his leg continues to heal without any complications.

  1. Seeing a scarlet macaw makes any trip worthwhile. And I believe they carry curative powers. FB
