Our first visitors
Our first visitors arrive on Saturday to Quito and Sunday to La Josefina, and we are over-the-moon excited.
The Okura Bailey family -- Pat, Stacia, and Evan -- were our pod-mates for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, which means we have spent a LOT of time together over the last few years. They know most of our idiosyncrasies and have learned to cope with the chaos we create. We've missed them tremendously these last three months, each of us in our own way.
We have a calendar of the week's events on our fridge, a menu and meal plan, and a looooooong list of things we want to share with them -- everything from how to harvest bananas to where to find the lightening bugs outside our house to how to make mora juice.
Paul and the boys are heading to meet them at the airport. Brynna and I are holding down the fort here, getting the house ready for their arrival.
So exciting!
